Bugfix - Call Selector

We recently corrected a bug in the random call selector for users of Startel's soft switch that would cause the application to hang occasionally after scanning a directory. It's recommended that all random call selector users download the latest version.

While Quasar wasn't publicly launched until 2012, its life as an in-house tool at King's Telemessaging started in 2010. That means this year will mark a full decade since the first call was scored. The biggest change we've seen in users' needs over that time is a desire for their agents to take a more active role in assessing and tracking their performance. To that end we've begun expanding the functionality of agent logins, and are planning new features in the upcoming year.

We've just released the first version of a web API for Quasar that will allow software developers to integrate Quasar statistics into third-party or in-house applications.

CentralNic, a global domain registry, has recently chosen to 'sunset' several of their second-level TLDs. Included, unfortunately, is .ar.com, meaning the quas.ar.com URL is no longer available.

Callscores.com is not affected, but there will be a few minor changes to users. Among those are
